Dance Lessons incl. DJ Carlitos (Salsa, Dance & R&B) Comments: This club is a fun place to go to, and the variety
throughout the week makes it that much better. With a capacity of

with the Latin Roots crew and their amazing vintage salsa. Extras - Free before 9:00 p.m. and the guest list for Latin

Live Bands Comments: This club is a fun place to just hang around, although
it is not a fave among dancers, it is quite popular due to its live
bands. The floor is not in the best conditions, but it doesn't matter
to some of the people who go, because once you are there, you dance
anywhere. Salsa

This club is here for the long run, a great place to check out and
dance to the rhythms of DJ Luis "Salsabor" on Fridays.
You can come earlier and have some of their great food.

Motivos
Restaurant & Bar
1042 St. Clair Ave. W. (east of Dufferin)
416-652-3855
Motivos has a really charming old-school salsa club feel that I
definitely yearn for here in Toronto where almost every club (except
El Rancho & Plaza Flamingo) has become way too swanky and un-Latin!
This club reminds me of how the clubs were when I first started
salsa dancing here in T.O. It's not a beautiful glossy club with
people in all the right fashions dancing all the most current dances,
but it sure is a lot of fun!!!
Fridays - 90%salsa music! free dance
class from 9 - 10pm, free before 11p.m., $5 after
Saturdays - Tropical nights (Merengue,
Cha-cha, Bachata, Merengue, Salsa mix)

Concord
Latin Fridays
905-738-0000
For those of you who have been in the scene long enough, just think
LA Hollywood when you go to this club. Same crowd, music, atmosphere.
Two of the pros for this club it's the DJ (Carlitos) and the fact
that it's targeted for a younger, newer crowd, which will always
want to party anywhere (thus location is not that important, if
you drive.)
Paparazzi
270 West Beaver Creek Rd.
Richmond Hill
Latin Thursdays
905-886-6239
This club is also far, but if rumors that Alvaro C. is the DJ, it
may not matter to all those hardcore Salseros who love his vintage
collection. We'll let you know when we check this place out.

Ladies FREE
(Summer only) Patio with dance floor - plays salsa only
Too far, too packed, and on Wednesday nights the place to be at
is Latin Roots with Alvaro C. @ Ba Ba Luus. Once again the reason
that this club is as popular as it is on a Wednesday and Saturday,
is because of their DJs. These 2 guys pack the house all the time,
great variety and even better Salsa sets. Keep up the good work.
Plaza
Flamingo Restaurant
423 College St. (east of Bathurst, south side)
416-603-8884
Friday - $6.00
Saturday - $8.00
Restaurant on 1st floor - great food Comments: A place this big should have more dancing room.
Great location in the Downtown area, and because it is one of the
more know places, chances are you'll meet a celebrity here once
in a while.
