Hello everyone, and welcome to Zagreb! Salsa has not been around for very long in Croatia, but it has already made a great impact here, resulting in an increasing number of schools teaching salsa, and more people dancing and loving it. We are still at the point where the diverse styles of dancing have not yet clearly been defined and separated. For example, we do not have only Cuban style clubs, LA or NY style clubs but for the most part, everyone is doing almost the same style. Of course things are getting better. More and more foreign teachers are holding seminars here (Elder Sánchez and Nadeem from the UK or Miguel Rodríguez are some examples). Also, some of our local teachers are attending salsa congresses in other countries and bringing new knowledge to Croatia. Do not be mistaken though. There are many good dancers here, both men and women, because Croats like to dance and have fun. So, if you decide to go to any of the salsa clubs listed below, I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed. Well, enjoy your stay in Zagreb and have a great time dancing salsa here! Tantra Ljudevita Gaja 2, Neboder Passage Jueves Este club recién añadió salsa a su programación. Aunque es un lugar nuevo para los salseros, el club en sí tiene tiempo y es un lugar agradable con un ambiente acogedor. Amplio espacio en la pista de baile de madera. Altamente recomendado. Tocan Salsa desde las 20.00 hasta las 23.00 horas. Una cosa más: está ubicado en la plaza principal de la ciudad y por ende, fácil de encontrar. Los bailadores han aceptado este lugar y se está volviend más popular. Los jueves son mejores. Música pre-grabada, mayormente de Los Angeles y Cubana. No cobran entrada.	Tantra Ljudevita Gaja 2, Neboder Passage Thursdays This club recently added salsa nights to its program. Although this is a new place for salsa, the club has been around for a while and is a nice place with a warm atmosphere. Ample space for dancing. Wooden floor. Highly Recommended! Salsa is played 20.00-23.00 hours. One more thing: it is situated on the city's main square and is easy to find. Dancers have accepted this place and more and more people go there. Thursday is the day to go. Tuesday is not so popular. Pre-recorded music, mostly LA, Cuban. Entrance is free!
Discoteque Boogaloo (ex OTV) Vukovarska 68, Otvoreno sveuciliste Fiestas salseras los miércoles. Música con el gran DJ Josip. Sábados música en vivo! Caymán Verde toca de las 21:00 hasta la 1 a.m. También DJ Josip toca en el entremedio. La mejor fiesta en la ciudad! Tenga cuidado con las vueltas... la pista es deslisoza! La entrada los sábados cuesta 1.5 euros.	Discoteque Boogaloo (ex OTV) Vukovarska 68, Otvoreno sveuciliste Wednesdays salsa party. Music from great DJ Josip! Saturdays Salsa night with LIVE music! Cayman Verde is playing. From 21.00-01.00. Also, DJ Josip plays in the breaks! Best party in town, best music! Be careful though for the spins! Floor is a little bit slippery! Entrance on Saturdays is 1.5 Euros.
