Las noches regulares de este club tienen hip hop, Rhythm & Blues, y música bailable. Nova fue diseñado por un diseñador de Hong Kong (Joey Ho). Es un lugar impresionante de 6,000 pies cuadrados y decorado en forma ultra-moderna y futurística. Este lugar reemplace a Mella, y el promotor es el mismo, por ende los bailadores que frecuentan aquí son los mismos del otro lugar - mayormente bailan estilo Los Angeles en 1. El DJ es también el mismo y toca mayormente salsa y bachata. Hay una clase introductoria de salsa y bachata incluída en el costo de entrar que va de las 8:15 hasta las 9:30 p.m. La fiesta comienza después de las 9:30 p.m. hasta como la 1 de la madrugada y puede seguir de largo si aún hay gente bailando a esa hora. On a regular club night, this venue is home to hip hop, R&B and Dance music. Nova is designed by an award-winning Hong Kong designer (Joey Ho). It is an impressive 6,000 square foot and with an ultra-modern, futuristic décor. This venue replaces Mella, and this night is run by the same promoter and therefore, dancers here are the same ones who frequented the previous venue – mostly LA Style On-1 dancers.  The DJ there is also the promoter and he plays mostly salsa and bachata.  There is an introductory salsa and bachata class included in the entrance fee that goes from 8.15 to 9.30 p.m. and the party starts from 9.30 p.m. until around 1 a.m., and could go longer if there are still many dancers around at that time. Entrance fee is HKD160, which includes 2 standard drinks.

La noche regular de salsa es cada miércoles. La música con DJ se acompaña con un bongocero. Tocan salsa, bachata, merengue y ocasionalmente reggaetón. La mayoría bailan salsa en 1, que puede incluir gente que bailan estilo cubano. No cobran en la puerta y eso atrae no sólo a gente para bailar, pero también a los no-bailadores. La fiesta aquí parece más bien una noche latina y no una noche dedicada a la salsa. The regular salsa night is back here every Wednesday. The DJ music here is accompanied by a Bongo player. Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and even occasionally Reggaeton is played. Most dancers here are On-1, which may include Cuban style dancers. The Free Entrance does attract dancers as well as non-dancers to this venue and the party here resembles more a Latin night than a hard-core salsa night.

Club Volar es uno de los clubs más de moda, ubicado en el corazón del área Lan Kwai Fong, el distrito nocturno más famoso. Las noches regulares tiene Hip Hop y R&B con DJs invitados del mundo entero. Los martes tiene salsa en dos cuartos separados para acomodar al público. La salsa es sólo en 1 y en 2. No tocan salsa cubana pero de repente se escucha unas bachatas o cha-cha-chás. Los bailadores suelen ser de mayor nivel. Es gratis para entrar y hay una clase de salsa introductoria de las 8:30 hasta las 9 p.m.	Club Volar Basement, 38-44 D'Aguilar Street, Central, Hong Kong +852 2810 1272 Tuesdays, 8.30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Club Volar is one of Hong Kong’s most ‘hip’ of clubs, located in the heart of the Lan Kwai Fong area, which is Hong Kong’s most famous bar and club district. On regular nights, it is home to Hip Hop and R&B music with guest DJs from all over the world. On Tuesdays, however, it hosts salsa music in 2 separate party rooms to accomodate the crowd. The salsa played is purely for On-1 and On-2 dancers. No Cuban music is played here, but a few bachatas and occasional cha chas are played. Dancers tend to be also more seasoned ones with higher skills. Entrance is free and there is an introductory salsa class from 8:30 - 9 p.m.
Salsa de Noche Nuevo Socialito Shop 2, a nivel de la calle, 60 Calle Wyndham, Central, Hong Kong +852 3167 7380 Jueves 10.30 p.m. hasta las 2 a.m. Socialito es un nuevo club, taquería y restaurante. Ofrece comida latinoamericana y mexicana y está ubicado a una calle de la calle famosa de Hong Kong, Lan Kwai Fong y a dos puertas del lugar para los salseros los domingos, Solas. El club se encuentra detrás del área donde sirven los tacos en el mostruario así que asegúrate de caminar más allá de las puertas grandes de aluminio y hacia detrás del mostruario que da para la calle. Los mismos salseros que antes frecuentaban Club 97 ahora vienen acá. Los bailadores mayormente son del estilo Los Angeles en 1 y de repente llegan latinoamericanos y gente que bailan estilo cubano. La pista es pequeña y de baldosa. Como es también un restaurante, la música comienza después del servicio de cena a las 10.30 p.m. No cobran para entrar y tampoco hay una clase introductoria. El baile y la fiesta comienza a las 10:30 p.m. y sigue hasta que quedan pocos, generalmente alrededor de la 1 a.m.	Salsa de Noche New Socialito Shop 2, Ground Floor, 60 Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong +852 3167 7380 Thursdays 10.30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Socialito is a newly-opened Taquería/Restaurant/Club.  It serves Mexican and Latin American food and is located conveniently one street above the infamous Bar and Club street of Hong Kong, Lan Kwai Fong and it is 2 doors down from the Sunday Salsa venue, Solas.  The club area is behind the front counter-service taquería, so make sure you walk past the heavy aluminium doors to the back of the street-front counter. If you wish to dine and dance, you can do it here.  The same promoter and DJ for Tuesday’s Nova salsa night also runs this night. The difference is that on Wednesdays, he DJs with a resident percussionist. Music here ranges from Salsa dura to occasional Timba and Cuban salsa, depending on the crowd.  The same salseros who used to go to Club 97 now come here.  Dancers are mostly LA style On-1 and occasionally, you will get Latinos and Cuban salsa dancers.  The dance floor is very small and is tiled.  As this is also a restaurant, the salsa music begins only at the end of dinner service at 10.30 p.m.  Entry for this salsa night is FREE and there is no introductory class.  The dancing and party starts at 10.30 p.m. and goes on until there are very few dancers left, which is often around 1 a.m.
Salsa Fridays at Dance Trinity Studio Nuevo 13o piso, The Pemberton, 22-26 Bonham Strand, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong +852 9634  9770 www.dancetrinity.com Viernes 10 p.m. hasta la 1 a.m. Esta es una fiesta auspiciada por la academia de baile Dance Trinity. El estudio está ubicado en The Pemberton y tiene una bella pista de baile de madera de 1,800 pies cuadrados. Mayormente bailan estilo Nueva York en 2 y algunos estilo Los Angeles en 1. La música es salsa dura, clásica, mambo, cha-cha-chá y algo de bachata. Cobran HKD 50 para entrar y los refrescos cuestan HKD 10. Puedes traer tu propio trago fuerte, si lo deseas.	Salsa Fridays at Dance Trinity Studio New 13th Floor, The Pemberton, 22-26 Bonham Strand, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong +852 9634  9770 www.dancetrinity.com Fridays 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. This is a studio party hosted by the Dance Trinity dance school.  The studio located at The Pemberton has a beautiful 1,800 square foot, proper sprung wooden dance floor.  Dancers here are dancing mostly NY On-2 style and some on LA On-1 style.  Music is Salsa dura, clásica, mambo, Cha-cha-chá and some Bachata.  HKD50 entry fee and drinks are HKD10 for soft drinks. You can bring your own alcoholic beverages if you wish.
Solas Bar & Lounge Nuevo I Love Salsa Domingos nivel de la calle. The Centrium, 60 Calle Wyndham, Central, Hong Kong +852 3162 3710 Domingos 8 p.m. a 12 a.m. Solas en un bar recién renovado ubicado convenientemente una calle arriba de la zona principal de festejo, Lan Kwai Fong. Solas tiene una pista de madera que da una experiencia más placentera al bailar. La ubicación es a nivel de calle y muy abierto, así que cuando se repleta la pista el ambiente y la música son muy buenos. La mayoría de los bailadores aquí bailan mambo neoyorquino en 2, pero también se encuentra aquellas personas que baila estilo Los Angeles en 1. La mayoría de los bailadores aquí son de cierto nivel técnico. La música es salsa dura, clásica, mambo, cha-cha-chá y bachata. No cobran para entrar y hay ubna clases introductoria de salsa para todos niveles que comienza a las 8:30 por media hora. El baile y la fiesta comienza a las 9 p.m y sigue hasta la medianoche.	Solas Bar and Lounge New I Love Salsa Sundays Ground Floor, The Centrium, 60 Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong +852 3162 3710 Sundays 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Solas is a newly renovated bar and lounge, located very conveniently just one street above Hong Kong’s prime party zone, Lan Kwai Fong. Solas has wooden flooring, which makes salsa dancing more enjoyable. The location is right at the street level and very open and so the ambience when the dancing and music get going is really nice. Dancers here are mostly NY On-2 style, but you will also find LA on-1 style dancers. Dancers tend to be more experienced here and music is Salsa dura, clásica, Mambo, Cha-cha-chá and Bachata. Entry is free and there is an introductory salsa lesson (for all levels) that starts at 8.30 for about half an hour. The dancing and party starts at 9 p.m. and goes on until midnight.
Stupa Lounge Nuevo Simply Salsa 3er piso, Edif. Cheung Hing, 37 Calle Cochrane, Central, Hong Kong +852 3480 9026 Sábados, 9 p.m. hasta la 1 a.m. El Stupa Lounge es realmente un restaurante nepalés así que puedes cenar y bailar. Está ubicado en el área de Soho de Hong Kong, cerca de la famosa escalera al aire libre. Stupa Lounge New Simply Salsa 3rd Floor, Cheung Hing Building, 37 Cochrane Street, Central, Hong Kong +852 3480 9026 Saturdays, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Stupa Lounge is actually a Nepalese restaurant so you can eat and dance.  It is located in the Soho area of Hong Kong, close to the famous outdoor escalator.  The DJ advertises playing Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton and Zouk Lambada.  Zouk Lambada is still very new in Hong Kong.  Dancers are mostly LA Style On-1 and mostly beginners.  There is no door charge and the party starts at 9 p.m. with a 30-minute introductory salsa lesson.
Xperience Ground Floor, Asian Orient Building 33 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. +852 2143 6008 Viernes 10:30 p.m. hasta las 3:30 a.m.  Domingos 7 p.m. hasta las 2 a.m. Xperience es un bar y restaurante ubicado en el lugar muy mansito de la Zona Roja, Wanchai, y por ende entran aquellas personas que no bailan y están allí para tomar. Los viernes y los domingos se convierte en salsoteca. Los viernes son más tranquilos que los domingos pero aún así llega un buen público aquí. La mayoría de los bailadores no son de alto nivel y casi nadie baila estilo Nueva York en 2. Si quieres escuchar Timba, entonces este es el lugar. El DJ toca timba, salsa, bachata, merengue y de vez en cuando un cha-cha-chá y algo de Zouk. No hay clase de salsa los viernes y cobran HKD 150 que incluye 2 tragos estándar. Los domingos cobran HKD 200 con 2 tragos si llegas a las 7 p.m. y baja a HKD 130 si llegas después de las 8 p.m. Los domingos hay una Rueda y clase de salsa estilo Los Angeles de las 7 hasta las 8 p.m. De 8 a 8:30 p.m. hay una classe de nivel intermedio y de 8:30 a 9 p.m. una clase para principiantes. Como hay 2 lugares abiertos los domingos, la mayoría de los bailadores con mayor experiencia van a Solas mientras los que prefieren el estilo cubano vienen aquí.	Xperience Ground Floor, Asian Orient Building 33 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. +852 2143 6008 Fridays 10:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.  Sundays 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Xperience is a bar and restaurant, located in Hong Kong’s is very tame Red Light District, Wanchai, and so you do get the influx of non-dancers and drinkers.  On Fridays and Sundays, it lends its space to salseros and to salsa music.  Friday is a quieter night than Sunday but you will still get quite a crowd of dancers here.  Most dancers are not of a high level and almost none dances New York style On-2.  If you want to hear Timba, then this is the place to come to.  The DJ plays Timba, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and very occasionally, a cha cha and Zouk.  There is NO salsa lesson on Fridays and entrance fee is HKD150 for 2 standard drinks.  On Sundays, entrance fee is HKD200 for 2 standard drinks if you arrive at 7 p.m. and drops to HKD130 if you arrive 8 p.m. or later.  On Sundays, there is a Rueda and LA-style salsa lesson from 7 to 8 p.m.; from 8 to 8:30 p.m. is an Intermediate Salsa lesson; and from 8:30 to 9 p.m. is the Beginner Salsa lesson.  As there are 2 venues on Sundays, the more experienced dancers tend to go to Solas while lovers of Cuban style salsa tend to come here.
